Tarrant County Transportation Services

The City of Azle has a contract with Trinity Metro (formerly the "T") to provide door-to-door transportation service throughout Tarrant County to Azle residents who are disabled or 65 years of age or older under a program called Tarrant County Transportation Services (TCTS). Catholic Charities Fort Worth handles the scheduling and is the transportation provider.

Monday and Wednesday are the designated days for Azle with guaranteed space availability. Trips on other days are provided on a case-by-case basis as space allows.
Service hours are 6 am - 6 pm
Destinations may be anywhere in Tarrant County.
Transportation may be used for any need. $2.50 one way fare
No holiday/weekend service

Public Transit Services

Public Transit Services provides door-to-door transportation service for anyone living in Parker County.

$4 one way ($2 for seniors over 65)– anywhere within Parker County (call for information on transportation to other destinations).
Service hours 6 am - 6 pm
2 - 7 day advance notice for reservations
No holiday/weekend service

Meals on Wheels

Meals On Wheels of Tarrant County provides nutritionally balanced, home-delivered meals to homebound elderly and disabled citizens of Tarrant County. Service can be on-going or short term to provide assistance during periods of need. For information about the meal program, call 817-336-0912.

Community Waste Disposal

All handicapped or disabled customers who require backdoor service should contact CWD at 817-795-9300, option 2, for more information and to apply for this service. Customers must provide certification to the city from a physician as to their inability to carry containers to the curbside. If approved, customers may place containers at their front doorstep or next to the garage so as to be visible from the street, or at a location as may be determined by the contractor.
