Unclaimed Property Public Notice

Public Notice:

The City of Azle is currently holding property valued at $100 or less that is presumed abandoned or unclaimed subject to Chapter 76 of the Texas Property Code. Unclaimed property may include uncashed utility refunds, vendor payments, court fees, payroll checks, or overpayments. The following is a listing of unclaimed property held by the City as of March 1, 2023: Unclaimed Property Listing (PDF)

Any person possessing a legal or beneficial interest in the reported property must fill-out and send in the Unclaimed Property Claim Form and supporting documentation establishing your right to receive the property. If you have questions, please contact the Finance Department at (817) 444-2541 ext 108. When contacting the City, please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Owner’s name as identified in the unclaimed property listing
  • Owner’s current address
  • Owner’s social security number and driver’s license number
  • Other information as may be required to provide proof of ownership or identity
