Children's Programs

Toddler Storytime

Wednesdays/Thursdays at 10:15 am (No Storytime the week of Spring Break)
For ages 1-2 and their caregiver. Each of our Storytime presentations are presented by our Children's Librarian and focus on developing age appropriate early literacy skills. These programs incorporate stories, songs, dancing, rhymes, sigh language, and crafts to create a fun and interactive environment for young children who are not yet in school. Questions? LEGO Club

Third Wednesday of every month at 4:30 pm
LEGOS are provided by the library for ALL AGES to build, create, and imagine! Complete a LEGO challenge using a challenge card or use your imagination and build something unique. Look for LEGO builds in the Children's Area the following week. 

Spring Break Activities!

March 13-18
Look no further than the Azle Memorial Library for FREE spring break activities for kids ages 12 and under. Please note that Children 12 and under must have a parent or adult guardian with them at all times when visiting the library.

Main Street Book Club

Third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 PM
Adults of all ages are welcome to attend and discuss the book selection for the month.

Last Monday of every month at 2:00 PM 
Adults of all ages are invited to this craft program where the instructions and supplies will be provided to make a custom ephemeral accordion folder. FREE! No registration required.  

MS Word Basics Class

Tuesday, March 7 at 6:00 PM 
Goodwill of North Central Texas will be here to show attendees the basics of Microsoft Word, including: document creation; printing a document; inserting pictures and links; text and paragraph formatting; and more! All members of the public are welcome to attend this FREE class. No sign up is needed. Questions? Call Librarian Rebecca at 817-752-2682. 

DIY Sugar Scrubs

Tuesday, March 14 at 6:30 PM (Registration Required)
Adults and Teens (14+) are invited to this free program (reservations required)! Tired of the winter weather drying out your skin? Join us as we provide all the ingredients and instructions to make a DIY sugar scrub to take home! To reserve your spot call 817-752-2682 and ask for Librarian Rebecca.

THHSC Program Sign-Up Assistance

First Tuesday of every month from 1:00-4:00 PM 
A Benefit consultant will be available to help families sign up for SNAP/Food Stamps, CHIP, Children’s Medicaid, TANF, and any other Texas Health and Human Services Commission program.
