Volunteer Deputy Registrars will be on hand to assist residents of any county with voter registration. Takes place in the Library Lobby. The last day to register and be eligible to vote in the 2020 Primary Election is February 3.
Toddler Tales Storytime
Every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 am
Toddler Tales (PDF) is a participatory program for parents/caregivers and children ages 18-36 months. We will engage with books, play with fun activities, and make a craft that reflect a weekly theme.

Non-Fiction Addiction Book Club
First Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM
The Library is excited to announce the beginning of a new non-fiction book club for adults! Join us for lively discussion and get to know fellow readers. Meets in the Library Community Room.

Family Film Friday
First Friday of each month at 4:00 PM (Plus Each Friday in June/July 2020)
Join us each month for a family friendly movie in the Library Community Room. Fresh popcorn provided free of charge. All ages welcome, but children under 8 and under must have a parent or adult guardian with them at all times. Sponsored by the Azle Library Trust.

READ to a Dog
Second Saturday of every month from 2-3:30 pm
Children of all ages will be able to read to a certified therapy dog in order to improve their reading skills. Takes place in the Library Community Room. Come-and-go.
Main Street Book Club
Third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm
Adults of all ages are welcome to attend and discuss the book selection for the month. Takes place in the Library Community Room.

Brick it Up! LEGO Club
Third Wednesday of every month at 4:30 pm
For all ages! LEGOs are provided by the library - you supply the creativity! Takes place in the Library Community Room.

Adult Spelling Bee
February 29, 2020 at 2:00 pm
Adults of all ages (18+) are invited to participate in a multiple round, spelling bee style competition. Teams can be one to six members and must register by February 26th. Registration Forms can be found at the Library Information desk. If you don’t feel the need to "Bee" but have a friend/family member/neighbor in the competition, we welcome you to come show your support! Free to participate. Free to attend. Snacks will be provided.

Learn cooking techniques, discover new recipes, and sample tasty foods at this monthly program held in the Community Room. This program is aimed towards adults, but teenage cooks are also welcome!

Second Tuesday of every month from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Library foyer
A Benefit consultant will be available to help families sign up for SNAP/Food Stamps, CHIP, Children’s Medicaid, TANF, and any other Texas Health and Human Services Commission program. Questions? Contact the Library at 817-444-7216 and ask to speak to the Children’s Services Librarian.
