Spa Craft Night

Join us as we provide the supplies and instructions needed to make spa worthy scrubs and bath bombs - to keep for yourself or gift to others! This free program is open to older teens (13+) and adults, but space is limited. Please reserve a seat in advance by calling 817-444-7216.
How to Shop for Cameras

Interested in treating yourself or a loved one to a new camera? Unsure where to start? Guest presenter and professional photographer, Jim Stevens, will be presenting an informational session where you can learn about available cameras and purchasing tips. All ages are welcome.
Santa at Your Library

Mark your calendars because Santa is coming to the Azle Library! Join us for this fun, free family event featuring photos with Santa and Olaf (bring your own camera), kids crafts, and holiday refreshments. The event is come-and-go, but will end promptly at 7:30 PM. Click here for the event flyer.
Upcycled Christmas Card Craft

Craft with the old, design something new! All adults are invited to an evening of Christmas card making using recycled greeting cards. Free to participate and all the supplies are provided. No need to register, simply show up!
Gift Wrap Central

Stop by the Library's "Gift Wrap Central", in the Library Community Room, where you will find all the supplies needed to wrap your gifts for Christmas (limit 5 per person). We are making it easy to wrap gifts in secret away from family members, or to avoid buying an entire roll of wrapping paper for one gift. Gift wrap central is free and open to anyone, but kids 13 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
Toddler Tales Storytime
Every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 am
Toddler Tales (PDF) is a participatory program for parents/caregivers and children ages 18-36 months. We will engage with books, play with fun activities, and make a craft that reflect a weekly theme. Please note: Storytime will not take place the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years.

Non-Fiction Addiction Book Club
First Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM
The Library is excited to announce the beginning of a new non-fiction book club for adults! Join us for lively discussion and get to know fellow readers. Meets in the Library Community Room.

Family Film Friday
First Friday of each month at 4:00 PM (Plus Each Friday in June/July 2020)
Join us each month for a family friendly movie in the Library Community Room. Fresh popcorn provided free of charge. All ages welcome, but children under 8 and under must have a parent or adult guardian with them at all times. Sponsored by the Azle Library Trust.

Second Monday of every other month (plus December) at 4:30 pm
Learn cooking techniques, discover new recipes, and sample tasty foods at this monthly program held in the Community Room. This program is aimed towards adults, but teenage cooks are also welcome!

Discover your inner artist! We will explore all types of art and you can take your creations home! Perfect for Ages 5 and up. All materials will be supplied. For more information, see our Flyer or call the Library. Please note: ARTastic will not take place on December 10th due to the Santa at Your Library event.
READ to a Dog
Second Saturday of every month from 2-3:30 pm
Children of all ages will be able to read to a certified therapy dog in order to improve their reading skills. Takes place in the Library Community Room. Come-and-go.
Main Street Book Club
Third Tuesday of every month at 6:00 pm
Adults of all ages are welcome to attend and discuss the book selection for the month. Takes place in the Library Community Room.
