15th Anniversary Celebration

Open House Anniversary Reception

Saturday, March 23 from 1:00-3:00 PM (come-and-go)
All members of the community are invited to attend the Library's Open House Reception! Attendees will enjoy refreshments, activities for all ages, giveaways and more. This is the perfect time to explore the library, see what new services are in the works, or sign up for a FREE library card featuring our brand new library card design! Note: to sign up for a card adults 18+ should bring their Texas Photo ID as well as proof of address.

String Quartet Presented by Spectrum Music

Thursday, March 21. Arrival by 6:30 PM. Concert begins promptly at 7:00 PM.
You won't want to miss this evening of classical music featuring professional musicians from the Ft. Worth Symphony Orchestra as they perform the program, "Mozart: The Man, The Myth, The Music". The Library's Community Room provides an intimate concert setting, which allows the musicians to both perform and speak to the audience to share context about the music. Seating is limited and on a first-come-first served basis. Attendees are encouraged to arrive by 6:30 PM to receive a free entry ticket and enjoy complimentary refreshments. Only 65 tickets will be passed out. The concert will begin at 7 PM. Sponsored by the Azle Library Trust.

*Birthday Fiesta Storytime

Monday, March 25 @ 10:00 AM
You're invited to celebrate the Library's 15th birthday with a special storytime! Join us in singing songs, reading stories, and making a birthday craft. Cupcakes provided! Free for ages 2-6 and their caregiver. Reservations are required, so please call 817-752-2682 to reserve your spot. Feliz Cumpleanos!

LEGO Club

Third Wednesday of every month at 4:30 PM
Legos are provided by the library for ages 4+ to build, create, and imagine! Complete a LEGO challenge using a challenge card or use your imagination and build something unique. Look for LEGO builds in the Children's Area the following week.

Storytime

Wednesdays at 10:30 AM for Tiny Tykes (Ages 1-2 years old)
Thursdays at 10:30 AM for Pre-school Pals (Ages 3-6 years old)

Join our new Children's Librarian, Miss Ava, for storytime! Each storytime aids in developing age appropriate early literacy skills for children. Storytime will feature stories, singing, dancing, rhymes, crafts, sensory bins, and interactive play to create a fun and educational time for young children and their caregivers.

Teen Gaming Night

Tuesday, February 13th 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM
Ages 11-17 only
Join our librarians for a gaming night with our new Nintendo Switches! Games include: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Mario Party Superstars, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and more! No registration required!
*Note: Teens who are 11-13 years old will need an adult present in the library building during the program.

Ages 13 and up only. Film is rated PG-13. 
Join us for a showing of The Hunger Games: A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. Set 64 years before the events in the first Hunger Games novel, A Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes explores the origins of President Snow and the evolution of the Hunger Games. FREE! Popcorn provided!
Please note that no one under the age of 13 will be admitted. Teens who are 13 years old will need an adult present in the library building during the movie.

Crafty Quilters

Third Saturday of every month, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
All adults are welcome to join the Azle Quilters for a monthly meeting to work on quilting projects and more! Attendees will need to bring their own materials and equipment to work on and are welcome to bring snacks and drinks.
