Toddler Tales Storytime (resumes April 3)
Every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:00 am
Toddler Tales (PDF) is a participatory program for parents/caregivers and children ages 18-36 months. We will enjoy books, songs, finger plays, felt board stories and crafts. The program is repeated on Wednesdays and Thursdays so that you may choose the best day that fits your schedule. NOTE: Toddler Tales is on hiatus. Please watch this space for details on when Storytime will restart.
Preschool Storytime (resumes April 3)
Every Wednesday and Thursday at 10:45 am
Preschool Storytime (PDF) is a participatory program for both parent/caregiver and child, with the 3-6 year old child in mind. We will enjoy books, songs, finger plays, felt board stories and crafts reflecting a weekly theme. The program is repeated on Wednesdays and Thursdays so that you may choose the best day that fits your schedule.
Gardening Series @ Your Library
Tuesdays this Spring at 6:30 PM
Join us for an informational series on gardening this spring! The series will be taught by staff from the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Services and the Master Gardeners of Parker County. All classes start at 6:30 PM in the Library Community Room. Attendees who complete the entire series will receive prizes and a graduate certificate.

Non-Fiction Addiction Book Club
First Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM
The Library is excited to announce the beginning of a new non-fiction book club for adults! Join us for lively discussion and get to know fellow readers. Meets in the Library Community Room.

Family Film Friday
First Friday of each month at 4:00 PM (Plus Each Friday in June/July)
Join us each month for a family friendly movie in the Library Community Room. Fresh popcorn provided free of charge. All ages welcome, but children under 8 and under must have a parent or adult guardian with them at all times. Sponsored by the Azle Library Trust.

Discover your inner artist! We will explore all types of art and you can take your creations home! Perfect for Ages 5 and up. All materials will be supplied. For more information, see our Flyer or call the Library.
READ to a Dog
Second Saturday of every month from 2-3:30 pm
Children of all ages will be able to read to a certified therapy dog in order to improve their reading skills. Takes place in the Library Community Room. Come-and-go.
Second Monday of every other month (plus December) at 4:30 pm
Learn cooking techniques, discover new recipes, and sample tasty foods at this monthly program held in the Community Room. This program is aimed towards adults, but teenage cooks are also welcome!

Main Street Book Club

THHSC Program Sign-Up Assistance
Fourth Thursday of every month from 1:00 to 4:00 pm in the Library foyer
A Benefit consultant will be available to help families sign up for SNAP/Food Stamps, CHIP, Children's Medicaid, TANF, and any other Texas Health and Human Services Commission program . Questions? Contact the Library at 817-444-7216 and ask to speak to the Children's Services Librarian.
