Discover your inner artist on the second Tuesday of every month, from 4:30-5:30 pm. We will explore all types of art and you can take your creations home!  Perfect for Ages 5 and up.  All materials will be supplied. For more information, see our Flyer or call the Library and ask for the Children’s Librarian.

READ to a Dog

Who let the dogs in? We are so excited to offer the opportunity for kids to improve their reading skills in a unique way – READ To A Dog!! Certified reading dogs will be available in the Library Community Room from 2:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. the second Saturday of every month. Choose a book, sit back, relax, and read to the kind, compassionate, caring creature we know as D-O-G! Kids will become less anxious and more confident about reading, AND have a good time! For more information, stop by the Children’s Desk to pick up a flyer or call the Library and ask for the Children’s Librarian. (Dogs are fully trained and certified through either Pet Partners or Therapy Dogs International.)

All are invited to attend our awesome LEGO Club at the Library! Use LEGOs provided by the Library to imagine and create your own unique and amazing structures while learning about architecture, shapes, math, engineering, and more! The program takes place on the third Wednesday of the month from 4:30-5:30 p.m. in the Library Community Room. Finished pieces are displayed in the Library until the next meeting.
