***NOTICE OF HEARING***

The City Council of the City of Azle will conduct a public hearing at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 in the City Council Chambers at City Hall, located at 505 West Main Street to consider an ordinance approving the 2023 Roadway System Impact Fee Study, Land Use Assumptions, Roadway System Capital Improvements Plans, and the Roadway Impact Fee Rates.

***NOTICE***

Azle City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2023-06 on 03/21/2023. This ordinance revised the water and sewer impact fees on new land development and redevelopment platted after 03/21/2023.

Overview & Responsibilities

Public Services maintains and improves the quality of living for residents by managing the maintenance of streets, parks, drainage, sewer and water services. The Public Services Department operates one water production facility and two wastewater treatment facilities. This essential department provides the following services:

  • Overlay and reconstruction of city streets and curbs
  • Water and sewer systems maintenance
  • Water and sewer systems construction and replacement
  • Drainage Maintenance
  • Manages Capital Improvement Projects
  • Traffic signals / signage
  • Right-of-way maintenance
  • Supervises the Fleet Services and Facility Maintenance division
